How MoneyHour makes money
MoneyHour is free to use. We are paid by partners, and we think you should know exactly how that works before you rely on anything here.
Where the revenue comes from
When you follow certain links on MoneyHour and then open an account, apply, subscribe or complete another qualifying action with a provider, that provider may pay us a fee. Fees are typically per qualified referral or per completed account, and they vary by partner and product. You never pay more because you arrived through MoneyHour.
What compensation can influence
- Whether a provider is eligible for a paid, labelled placement on a page.
- The position of that labelled placement within a comparison module.
- Which categories we are able to expand and keep updated.
What compensation never influences
- Editorial scores or the criteria used to produce them.
- The wording of a review, including the drawbacks we publish.
- The facts in a comparison table.
- Whether we will say a product is a poor fit for a particular reader.
How you can tell the difference
Paid placements carry a Sponsored placement label. Unpaid selections chosen by our research team carry an Editorial pick label. Outbound partner links are tagged so they are identifiable to you and to search engines, and each comparison page carries a disclosure before the first table.
Coverage is not complete
MoneyHour does not review every provider in a market, and the options shown do not represent all products available to you. Some providers choose not to work with comparison sites at all. Treat our tables as a strong starting point, not an exhaustive list.
Independence in practice
Research and commercial functions are handled separately, and no partner sees a review before publication or has the right to change it. Read the full methodology for the detail.
